A Little About The Artist

Jaimie grew up in Spencerville Ontario, Canada and was born in March of 1987. From a young age, she showed talent with the pencil both at home and in school, and has only flourished in the many years to follow, creating super realistic portraits and paintings.  The countless hours and dedication she puts into each piece is reflected in every commission she delivers.

As a young child, it was shown she always had a knack for creativity, earning awards through public and high school for both media and visual arts. At age 17, she was asked to take part in The Merrickville Art Festival and graduated with honors from South Greville D.H.S. She then went on to study graphic design at Durham College in Oshawa and has since been a featured artist at the Gallop Canal Gallery and online at Hexabites Art Feature Friday.

Even though she is not employed as a full time artist, Jaimie still stays busy in the field with her commissions and volunteering her photography skills to local animal rescues.

She currently lives in Maitland, ON with her husband and daughter.
